QUICK ASSIST for Horizon app

Start/End fasting

To start your fast, go to the Timer screen and tap ‘Start’ button. 

To end your fast, head to the Timer screen and tap ‘End’ button.

In the Fasting Summary page, you have to possibility to change the start/end date of your fast.

Tracking your progress and statistics

Statistics

Simple counters to visualize your general fasting activity: total number of fasts, the longest fast, current and longest fasting streak.

Recent Fasts

The ‘Recent Fasts’ graph makes it easy to visualize your 7 most recent fasts, their total duration, and how much time you spent in key metabolic stages: Fat Burning, Ketosis and Deep Ketosis.

Notifications and Reminders

Horizon offers a number of notifications and reminders to help you reach your fasting goals. You can setup the following notifications:

Goal reached

Halfway through

Last hour

Surpassed goal 

Fasting Zones (coming soon)

Managing your notification settings

To manage your notifications, head to the Statistics tab, and tap on the gear icon in the upper right. On the ‘Settings’ screen, tap on ‘Notifications’.

From here, you can select which notifications you’d like to receive, as well as the time you’d like to receive the ‘Start fasting’ reminders. 

Selecting and changing a fast goal

On the Timer screen, tap on the top button to change your fasting type. There are 5 predefined types: 13, 16, 18, 23 and 36 hours fasting types + a custom option of your choice.

Creating a Horizon account

In the onboarding process of the app you will be asked to register for a Horizon account. The reasons for this: Your data is synced to the cloud

No more data loss when you delete the Horizon app or switched devices.

You can create an account with your Apple ID.

After registering, you’ll still have the same easy access to your fasting timer, and the app is still free to download.
